Senior DevOps Engineer

Aufgaben About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate a modern cloud-native platform that supports mission-critical applications and data services. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes-based infrastructure, Git. Ops practices, CI/CD automation, database administration, observability, and platform security.

You will play a key role in driving platform reliability, scalability, and developer productivity while mentoring junior engineers and adopting open-source technologies to enhance our engineering ecosystem. House, Qdrant Streaming & Messaging: Apache Kafka (Strimzi) Data Platform: Apache Airflow, Trino, Hive Metastore, Open. Metadata, MinIO (S3) Security: Hashi. Corp Vault, Open. Bao Configuration Management: Ansible Key Responsibilities: Design and manage advanced CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD Git. Ops). Deploy and operate highly available PostgreSQL & MySQL clusters.

Manage Kong API Gateway and optimize Kubernetes infrastructure. Operate and enhance monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki) and ensure security compliance. Manage Kafka clusters, perform capacity planning, and participate in incident response. Mentor junior engineers and deploy new open-source platforms end-to-end. Qualifikationen Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.

Expert-level Kubernetes (deployments, Stateful. Sets, RBAC, CRDs) and Docker. Extensive experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL (HA, replication) and Helm chart development. Proficiency with ArgoCD, Prometheus + Grafana (PromQL), and Apache Kafka. Strong Linux administration, scripting (Bash, Python, Go), and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).

Experience with Hashi. Corp Vault and Traefik ingress controller.
