Qualifications

NJ School Counselor Certification Strong interpersonal, written, communication, and confidentiality skills Ability to provide socio-emotional and academic counseling to groups and individuals Ability to evaluate school programs and resources to best support needs of students and families Desire and ability to work with students with diverse backgrounds and levels of ability Experience with testing, scheduling, and CTE pathways preferred Ability to organize tasks and manage time effectively and communicate effectively with all stakeholders Serve on Student Success Team to identify students who may need targeted supports Extra duties as assigned by the building Principal Salary: $60,653 - $115,891 per year.

Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications Full-time staff are eligible for Medical, Prescription, and Dental Benefits. It explicitly prohibits such employers from hiring a person serving in a position which involves regular contact with students unless the employer conducts a review of the employment history of the applicant by contacting former and current employers and requesting information regarding child abuse and sexual misconduct allegations.
