Respiratory Therapist

OPEN POSITION: Position: Respiratory Therapist Department: Respiratory Therapy Location: Marlette & Cass City, MI Hours: Casual Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a Respiratory Therapist in our Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department. REQUIREMENTS

Valid state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary purpose of this position is to provide logistical support for the operations of the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department. The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, educating, monitoring, and treating patients enrolled in pulmonary and/or cardiac rehabilitation programs.

This role focuses on improving patients’ respiratory and cardiovascular health through individualized exercise programs, patient education, disease management, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The therapist promotes safe exercise participation, monitors patient response to therapy, and supports long-term lifestyle modification.
