Job description
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Setting | Illinois Immediate Openings for the Current School Year Clarifi Staffing Solutions is collaborating with an Illinois school district to bring on a motivated and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, school-based role is a great fit for an SLP who is passionate about helping students develop strong communication skills that enhance learning, social engagement, and self-confidence.
In this position, you’ll be an integral part of a collaborative special education team, delivering comprehensive speech and language services to students with a wide range of needs. You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a supportive, team-oriented school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and educational planning. Conduct speech and language evaluations and create individualized therapy plans. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements. Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to reinforce communication strategies across settings.
Provide direct services addressing articulation, expressive/receptive language, fluency, voice, and social communication. Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
Must hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field and possess an active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license or be eligible for licensure in the state. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
