Software Engineer

Power the future of public mobility. Ridango builds account-based ticketing and mobility platforms used by public transport authorities and operators worldwide. Our systems span backend services, web applications, hardware devices, and real-time integrations — all working together to keep people moving at scale. We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Slovenia for a project-based role.

You should already be based in Slovenia, write clean, reliable code, and take real ownership of what you ship. Do you spot problems before they happen — and speak up when you do? If so, we'd love to talk. What you'll be doing: Designing and developing features across UI, services, APIs and data layers. Maintaining and improving existing system components.

Writing and maintaining automated tests and technical documentation. Participating actively in code reviews and contributing to engineering standards. Collaborating with QA, Product and Design to clarify requirements and flag technical risks early.

What we're looking for

Solid backend, frontend or full-stack development experience. Understanding of system integration patterns and component design. Familiarity with testing, CI/CD and deployment practices. Ability to independently work through medium complexity technical problems. Clear communicator who works well in a team.

What we offer

Work that matters — our systems move millions of people daily across multiple continents. A collaborative engineering culture where your input is heard and valued. Experienced team leads and senior engineers to learn from and work alongside. Room to grow in a company expanding internationally. Competitive compensation package.
