Assistant Engineer - Laundry

Main Duties and Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on laundry equipment, including washer extractors, tunnel washers, dryers, pumps, boilers, and related systems. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment failures and implement timely solutions. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.

Monitor equipment condition and recommend repairs, upgrades, or replacement opportunities. Support inventory management by tracking, ordering, and receiving parts and supplies. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards and promote a culture of workplace safety. Assist with work order management and preventive maintenance scheduling through HOTSOS or other maintenance management systems.

Collaborate with operational teams to minimize equipment downtime and support production goals. Participate in training initiatives and remain current with industry best practices and emerging technologies. Perform other duties as assigned in support of departmental and organizational objectives. Required Qualifications: Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Facilities Engineering preferred.

Minimum five (5) years of maintenance or engineering experience, preferably within a commercial laundry, hospitality, manufacturing, or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of boilers, compressors, pumps, motors, mechanical systems, and electrical troubleshooting. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Why Join Atlantis?
