Airport Senior Personnel Specialist

Bachelor's degree. Two years of human resources or personnel experience are required. Additional experience in human resources or personnel may substitute for the required college education on a year for year basis.

This position is responsible for conducting thorough evaluations of job roles and responsibilities to ensure alignment with organizational goals, legal compliance, and competitive practices. This position involves collecting and analyzing data, maintaining accurate job documentation, and collaborating with the Compensation Division Downtown to support the review of classifications. Plans, coordinates, implements, and monitors the department’s recruitment program for specified divisions in MDAD.

Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification, and other such procedures as may be mandated by federal law. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment.
