J_1319 - BIM Engineer (Revit Family Creation & Modeling)

Key Responsibilities

Create parametric Revit families for Mechanical Gensets, Enclosures, Base Frames, Doors, Exhaust Systems and related components. Develop accurate 3D Revit models and families based on manufacturer data, engineering drawings and AutoCAD drawings. Create and manage Parametric, Nested and Shared Families as per project and client requirements.

Configure family parameters, materials, visibility controls, connectors and other BIM attributes. Perform detailed 3D modeling of genset systems and associated mechanical equipment in Revit. Conduct quality checks to ensure model accuracy, compliance with BIM standards and coordination with project requirements. Update and revise models based on engineering changes and client feedback.

Coordinate with Design, Engineering and Project teams to ensure timely project delivery. Maintain consistency and accuracy between Revit models and AutoCAD drawings. Ensure adherence to company BIM standards, modeling guidelines and best practices. Skills and Experience Required: Diploma/bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.

1 to 3 years of experience in Autodesk Revit Modeling and BIM. Strong knowledge of Revit Family Creation, Parametric Modeling, Nested Families and Shared Parameters. Experience working with mechanical equipment, gensets, enclosures or industrial products. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. Understanding of BIM standards, model coordination and documentation.

Good communication and coordination skills for interaction with engineering teams and clients. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, manufacturer data and technical specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to model quality and accuracy.
