Driving Instructor

A Driving Instructor at Capabilities works with individuals with and without disabilities age 16+ to help them learn the skills necessary to get their learner’s permit and/or driver’s license.

When they are ready to test, you accompany them to the testing site to support them and celebrate their achievements. Imagine this: The door to the BMV opens and a newly licensed driver that you helped runs toward you with a big smile on their face… they passed! REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma/GED or above. Ability to type 25 words per minute and navigate a company-issued laptop. A clean driving record and ability to teach people to drive in company vehicles.
