Job description
About MOLLIE MOLLIE is a boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Aspen, shaped by two chapters of the town's history: the silver-boom exuberance that built it, and the postwar modernists who remade it as a place for ideas, design, and the outdoors. Designed by award-winning studio Post Company through a subtle lens of contemporary Scandinavian and Japanese design, MOLLIE feels residential and considered: natural woods, earthen ceramics, slabs of stone, and hand-dyed textiles drawn from Aspen and the wider West.
MOLLIE is home to Petit Trois, Chef Ludo Lefebvre's French bistro and its first location outside Los Angeles. Together with the lobby and bar, it welcomes guests and locals alike from morning coffee to evening cocktails, and the rooftop bar and pool look out to the surrounding mountains, a rare view in downtown Aspen.
Our idea of luxury is understated: warmth and conviviality, a reduction of excess, and an exacting attention to detail, without pretension. Our guests are well traveled, curious, and discerning, and they return because our team knows their names and how they take their cocktail. We look for people who share that spirit: confident but humble, sincere and direct, and happiest when service feels like an invitation rather than an obligation.
Location: Aspen, CO (on-site) Reports to: General Manager Employment Type: Full Time, Exempt Compensation: $105,000-$120,000 annual base salary, plus up to 10% annual discretionary bonus Schedule: Varies with business levels, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, particularly in peak winter and summer seasons Start Date: As soon as possible Application Deadline: November 10, 2026 Job Description We are looking for a Director of Revenue & Guest Experience to own how MOLLIE is positioned, priced, and sold, and to make sure the guests we win become guests who return.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will set commercial strategy across rooms, groups, and channels, and lead revenue management end to end, whether through outside partners, an in-house team, or a mix of both. As an intimate hotel competing alongside Aspen's largest luxury addresses, MOLLIE wins on occupancy and on the quality of every stay.
Our business runs on two engines: leisure travelers, our everyday core, and small, highly curated groups such as intimate weddings, senior executive retreats, and brands that share our sensibility. What You Will Shape MOLLIE's place in the Aspen market: who we are for, how we are priced, and why guests choose us. A leisure business that wins a growing share of Aspen's demand, season after season.
A group business built on the right fit: small, curated, and valued for everything it brings to the hotel. More guests who book directly and come back year after year. A modern revenue function that runs on sound judgment, clean data, and smart use of AI.
Responsibilities
Revenue and Commercial Strategy Define MOLLIE's market positioning and pricing strategy across seasons, room types, and segments. Set rate strategy and the guardrails for day-to-day pricing decisions. Shape marketing strategy with the marketing team: offers, packages, and campaigns that create new demand. Lead group strategy with Sales, targeting intimate weddings, executive retreats, and aligned brands, and price each group on its full value to the hotel.
Grow direct and luxury-consortia business (Virtuoso, Amex FHR, and others), and judge every channel on what it nets, not what it books. Lead revenue management end to end, including agency partners or an in-house team, and own the forecast and budget. Make sure MOLLIE shows up accurately in AI-driven travel search and booking tools.
Put AI and automation to work on forecasting, reporting, and analysis, with a critical eye on the output. Grow total revenue per guest through upgrades, packages, and spend at Petit Trois. Give the General Manager and ownership a clear weekly view of performance and recommendations they can act on. Keep rates, inventory, and data accurate across every system and channel.
Guest Experience Own the repeat-guest and VIP program: recognition, preferences, and personal pre-arrival outreach. Host curated groups personally, from planning through departure. Read every review, respond personally, and fix recurring issues at the root. Build relationships with returning guests, travel advisors, group planners, and locals.
Partner with Rooms, Petit Trois, Housekeeping, and Engineering on a seamless stay. Take part in the Manager on Duty rotation. Leadership Build and develop the revenue and guest-experience team, and hold outside partners to a high standard. Align Front Office, Reservations, Sales, and Marketing on pricing and offers. Lead with MOLLIE's values: fairness, warmth, and a high-performing, enjoyable workplace.
Qualifications
5+ years in hotel revenue management, including 2+ years leading revenue strategy for a luxury, boutique, or resort hotel. A track record of growing share and rate through positioning, pricing, and distribution. Guest-facing experience in luxury hospitality, and genuine pleasure in it. Fluency with revenue, distribution, and business intelligence tools (Opera, Syn.
Xis, Lighthouse, Demand360, or similar) and strong Excel. Everyday use of AI tools, with the judgment to challenge what they produce. The clarity to tell a story with numbers and the confidence to present it to ownership. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Preferred Experience in a seasonal resort market.
Experience with luxury consortia and curated group or wedding business. Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or finance; CRME, CHIA, or similar certification. Spanish. Physical Demands This role combines focused desk work with time on property. It requires seeing, hearing, speaking, sitting, and standing and walking for extended periods, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
