Curriculum Design Advisor

PCR, KosovoPosted Oct 21, 2026

Job description

Kosovo’s education institutions are seeking educators experienced in curriculum development to strengthen university syllabi, academic programs, and national learning resources. Universities in Kosovo are modernizing their academic programs but face challenges in designing contemporary syllabi, updating course materials, and integrating innovative teaching approaches aligned with European standards.

English language and literature departments at universities across the country require external support to refine English language teaching (ELT) literature syllabi, improve student proficiency, and integrate creative methodologies. Social science departments also require assistance developing syllabi, gathering and organizing course materials, structuring reading lists, and finalizing updated curricula that reflect current pedagogical practices.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI) additionally seeks to expand environmental education resources, improve classroom application, collect school-level feedback, and strengthen nationwide teacher training. As a Curriculum Design Advisor, you will co-teach university courses in English literature or social sciences while supporting the development of syllabi, resources, and academic programs.

You will guide faculty in adopting student-centered teaching approaches, strengthening self‑evaluation tools, and improving quality assurance practices. Together, these efforts will elevate teaching quality, deepen research engagement, and create more relevant and engaging learning experiences for students.
