The System Engineer will have experience in System Administration Automation, management and security compliance.

Candidate must focus on maintaining system integrity, performance, and security for critical client/server environments, demanding strong problem-solving and communication skills. Candidate must be prepared to work with a small, mission focused team that frequently interacts with users and the customer. ​ Requirements CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: A current and active TS/SCI clearance with a Maryland (MD) polygraph is required for consideration.

Qualifications

Six (6) years of systems engineering experience A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university. OR (U) A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area). OR (U) A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience OR (U) A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience.

Required Skills

Strong System Engineering and System Administration experience Strong knowledge of Security Compliance Strong knowledge of networking devices. (Cisco, Juniper, Arista) Strong System Administration skills for Windows/Linux (Red. Hat/CentOS/Rocky) Familiarity with Kubernetes/containerization Experience with Acitve Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, Network Services Strong knowledge of security protocols and patching Communication and escalation of issues to management *(U) Note 1 – Examples of Qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management.
