Job Summary

The Goentoro Lab in the Division of Biology and Biological Engineering is seeking a motivated and creative individual to join as a Research Technician. The successful candidate will assist in conducting a project to test new molecules as part of an effort to develop strategies that enhance wound healing and tissue regeneration.

Essential Job Duties Conduct and independently execute in vivo studies using mouse models, including animal handling, monitoring, and surgical procedures. Perform and analyze imaging, histological, and tissue-based experiments to support research objectives. Execute a variety of molecular and. cellular biology techniques, including sample preparation, data collection, and analysis.

Accurately document experimental procedures, observations, and results in accordance with established laboratory protocols. Analyze , interpret, and communicate experimental findings to research team members. Assist with troubleshooting experimental procedures and recommend solutions to technical challenges. Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and research records to support efficient laboratory operations.

Collaborate effectively with researchers and provide support for ongoing laboratory projects and initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or related scientific discipline. Minimum of 2 years of relevant laboratory research experience. Demonstrated experience handling laboratory mice. Demonstrated experience performing surgical procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in tissue histology. Experience in molecular biology assays. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Required Documents Resume.
