METRC Administrator & Inventory Coordinator

Viridian Staffing's Client is seeking a Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator to help launch and manage inventory operations for a growing cannabis wholesale distribution company in Santa Barbara, California.

Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing (www.viridianstaffing.com) is the premier staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry. In this hands-on role, you'll take ownership of daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, order fulfillment, and METRC compliance.

You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring proper storage and tracking of bulk cannabis products. As part of a small, collaborative team, you'll have the opportunity to establish inventory procedures, improve processes, and help shape the operations of a new distribution facility.

Your background should include hands-on METRC experience, a strong understanding of inventory management and reconciliation, and familiarity with cannabis compliance requirements. You're comfortable using spreadsheets and inventory tracking systems, with the ability to work independently, identify problems, and implement solutions.

Experience in cannabis distribution or warehouse operations is highly preferred. You're organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You must be at least 21 years old and able to safely lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
