Facilities Manager
Job description
The City of Roanoke is seeking a Facilities Manager to serve in the Department of General Services and Sustainability. The Facilities Manager is required to manage the Facilities Management & Custodial Services divisions. In coordination with the Facilities Superintendent, the Facilities Manager will manage the city-owned buildings- plumbing, electrical, HVAC, structural, paint, and custodial staffing.
The Facilities Manager will also monitor the budget and make decisions on whether projects can be completed with in-house staffing based on budgeted amount and man-hours available. Other expectations include assisting the Director of General Services in many Senior-Management level meetings,...
