Construction Summer Intern

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an internship opportunity for a limited-term, full-time summer position within our Municipal group at our De Pere, WI office. Interns should expect the following from a summer internship experience with Mead & Hunt: Exposure to projects and people in our municipal engineering group Collaborate with project managers and colleagues on municipal construction projects that vary in size and scope while developing familiarity with the federal, state, and local design standards Utilize technical software programs to analyze, prepare, and quality check client deliverables.

Field observations and data collection Assist with preparation of technical reports and memos Participation in technical and client meetings Fun team-building activities that will allow you to network with professionals and interns alike Interns will be expected to visit project sites for data collection as well as out-of-office meetings and events.

A valid driver’s license is required. Successful candidates must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in civil engineering or a related field. The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D Previous relevant internship experience Coursework in civil engineering, construction management or closely related At Mead & Hunt we shape the future by putting people first.

Hourly Rate Range: $19.00 to $25.00 – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
