Job description
- Responsible for system architecture evaluation, hardware circuit design, component selection and specification review, PCB layout review, and hardware debugging for networking platforms.
- Responsible for schematic review, design review, and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex hardware issues.
- Lead technical project coordination, technology evaluation, and new technology implementation.
- Drive system bring-up, hardware validation, troubleshooting, and design issue resolution throughout EVT, DVT, and PVT phases.
- Design and debug high-speed digital circuits, including PCIe, DDR4/DDR5, USB, SATA, SerDes, and Ethernet interfaces, with consideration for SI/PI, impedance control, stack-up planning, and termination design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers in hardware design, validation, and debugging activities.
要求 / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields.
- 8+ years of hardware design experience in networking, telecommunications, embedded, or related systems, including technical leadership and cross-functional project coordination.
- Strong experience in high-speed digital circuit design, system bring-up, and hardware debugging. Experience in system architecture definition, platform design, and embedded system development is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with DDR4/DDR5, PCIe, high-speed Ethernet, power design, and SI/PI considerations. Proficient in OrCAD and Allegro tools, with the ability to work independently with minimum support.
- Able to independently handle system bring-up, debugging, and production support.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills (with Layout, ME, FW, and PM teams).
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, network analyzers, and other hardware validation tools.
- Good communication in English (TOEIC 650+)
Preferred Experience (Plus)
- Experience in satellite communication systems, including User Terminal (UT), Gateway, or Ground Segment hardware development.
- Hands-on experience in Router, Access Point, Switch, or networking equipment development is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Embedded Linux systems, including hardware-software integration, bootloaders, device drivers, and system bring-up.
- Experience in RF, antenna, or optical module integration.
- Strong background in EMI/EMC debugging and international certification compliance (e.g., FCC, CE, CB).
- Experience in thermal management, environmental testing, and reliability design for outdoor or harsh environments.
