Summary: The Machine Operator I is responsible for the safe operation, setup, and routine maintenance of CNC plate cutting equipment, including oxyfuel, plasma, and laser cutting machines (Messer and Trumpf brands). This position involves loading heavy steel plates, selecting appropriate cutting programs, choosing the correct consumables, and operating CNC cutting tables to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. The Operator performs first-piece inspections using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and templates to verify dimensional accuracy. Successful candidates are detail oriented, demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
