Job description

  1. Medical Oncologist We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, delivering patient-centered care through chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy. The role involves close collaboration with surgeons, radiation oncologists, and palliative care providers to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Qualifications

● Medical degree (MBBS, MD/DM/DNB) from an accredited institution. ● Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Medical Oncology. ● Board certification in Medical Oncology. ● Valid medical license to practice in [Insert State/Region]. ● Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills. ● Excellent communication and compassionate patient care abilities.

Key Responsibilities

● Evaluate and diagnose patients with various forms of cancer. ● Develop individualized treatment plans using chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy, or targeted therapy. ● Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust protocols as needed. ● Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and palliative care providers.

● Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and prognosis. ● Manage side effects and complications related to cancer therapies. ● Participate in tumor board meetings and contribute to case discussions. ● Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and use EHR systems effectively. ● Stay informed on the latest research, clinical trials, and oncology treatment advancements.

Preferred Skills

● Experience managing both solid and hematologic malignancies. ● Exposure to hematology or bone marrow transplant is an added advantage. ● Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems. ● Clinical research or academic background is a plus. ● Bilingual abilities are a plus.
