Refrigeration Technician

POSITION: REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN SHIFT: 2ND SHIFT (3 pm - 11:30 pm) or 3RD SHIFT (11:00 pm - 7:30 am) plus rotating Saturdays REPORTS TO: REFRIGERATION SUPERVISOR PERKS & BENEFITS

May perform other maintenance duties as assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

– REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN Responsible for all facets of operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting large industrial refrigeration systems. Maintain daily logs and other required paperwork. Perform emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed. Attend PSM meetings and functions. Utilize CMMS software. Apply troubleshooting skills with the use of electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and P&ID’s.

Must comply with all safety regulations, GMP standards, and maintain clean and orderly work areas. SUCCESS CRITERIA – REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN Process Safety/Safety/GMP/Food Safety/Quality policies followed. Reporting accuracy met. IIAR standards met. EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS – REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN Ability to build strong relationships, provide excellent customer service, and problem solve.

High School Diploma. Industrial Refrigeration experience preferred (RETA based certifications). Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred. PSM experience preferred. Basic computer skills. Ability to work from heights, climb ladders, and lift/pull as needed. Ability to work in hot and cold environments. Good Verbal & written skills.

Willing and able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
