Day Shift Material Handler

• Quality Control, We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to support daily manufacturing and shipping operations. This position is responsible for moving materials and supplies throughout the facility, preparing finished products for shipment, and helping ensure production teams have the materials they need to meet daily goals. The ideal candidate is organized, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Pull, verify, and deliver materials and supplies to support production needs. Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing materials. Operate forklifts to move materials and products safely throughout the facility. Inspect forklifts before each shift and report any damage, maintenance needs, or safety concerns.

Work with production personnel to maintain workflow and achieve daily production goals. Maintain accurate material handling practices and keep work areas organized. Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two years of forklift operating experience required. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and established procedures. Good organizational and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Commitment to safe material handling and workplace practices. Working Conditions Work primarily in an industrial manufacturing and shop environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and reach. May be exposed to high noise levels, moving equipment, congested work areas, heights, and confined spaces.

Shift work or schedule rotations may be required. Must wear required PPE and follow all established safety procedures.
