Corporate Attorney - Commercial

Corporate Attorney, Commercial Location: Hybrid (3 days/week in Boulder, CO) Spectra Logic is seeking a business-minded Corporate Attorney, Commercial to support our growing organization. In this role, you will partner with teams across Sales, Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Leadership to provide practical legal guidance that helps drive business success while managing risk.

What You'll Do

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, software and intellectual property licensing, services, reseller, distributor, and OEM contracts. Support domestic and international sales transactions with practical, risk-balanced legal advice. Provide legal support for procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain agreements.

Improve contract templates and playbooks to increase efficiency. Assist with other legal matters, including compliance, employment, IP, disputes, and corporate initiatives, as needed What You'll Bring J.D. and active bar membership in good standing; eligible to practice as in-house counsel in Colorado. 4-6 years of commercial contracting experience, ideally combining law firm and in-house experience.

Strong commercial contracting, negotiation, and business judgment skills. Experience supporting sales, procurement, manufacturing, or supply chain functions. Familiarity with technology transactions, software licensing, legal operations, or AI-enabled legal tools is a plus.

Who You Are

A collaborative, solutions-oriented attorney who enjoys partnering with the business, simplifying complex issues, and helping teams achieve commercial goals while effectively managing risk. Base salary range : $140,000-$175,000 annually. The anticipated base salary offered will depend on relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and business needs.

This range is a good-faith estimate of the compensation Spectra expects to offer at the time of posting. Location: Candidates must reside within commuting distance of our Boulder, CO office. Relocation assistance is not available. Only local candidates will be considered. 3 days a week in Boulder office.
