As a Skilled Maintenance I team member, you'll help maintain the systems, equipment, and facilities that support safe and reliable patient care.

What You'll Do

Perform routine maintenance and repair activities throughout hospital and clinic facilities. Assist with facility improvement, renovation, and construction projects as assigned. Install, move, and assemble furniture, equipment, and fixtures to support operational needs. Complete drywall, painting, signage, and general facility repair projects.

Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and building systems. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete assigned work. Maintain maintenance records, logs, and required documentation accurately and timely. Support emergency repairs, after-hours needs, and urgent maintenance requests as required.

Assist Skilled Maintenance II and Skilled Maintenance III team members with projects and specialized repairs. Promote safe facility operations through adherence to organizational safety standards and maintenance best practices.

Preferred Qualities Commercial maintenance experience. Construction experience. HVAC, plumbing, or electrical exposure. Healthcare facilities experience.

Physical Requirements Frequent lifting, climbing, bending, kneeling, and standing. Use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Indoor and outdoor maintenance activities. Education, Certifications & Licensure Maintenance or construction experience preferred. Technical certifications encouraged. Continuing education and skill development supported.
