Summary: The Operations Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of field operations for Eco-Energy across assigned communities and counties. This position serves as a key operational link between field teams and central office functions, driving efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business goals.
By overseeing daily coordination, data collection, and communication flow, the Operations Assistant supports sales, marketing, installation, and customer service activities—ensuring timely reporting, effective problem resolution, and continuous improvement. The role is essential to maintaining operational integrity, enhancing customer experience, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the field network.
Responsibilities
Coordinate daily field activities across sales agents, technicians, and marketing teams in assigned regions. Support field marketing initiatives including community outreach, product demonstrations, roadshows, and customer sensitization campaigns. Collect, compile, and submit accurate daily and weekly field reports on sales performance, installation progress, customer feedback, and operational challenges.
Act as a liaison between field teams and the central office, facilitating timely communication on stock levels, payments, customer issues, and scheduling. Manage customer onboarding and after-sales follow-up, including basic troubleshooting and escalation to technical or finance teams as needed. Track field stock and asset usage (products, accessories, tools, promotional materials) and report any discrepancies promptly.
Verify mobile money transactions and sales records at the field level in coordination with the finance team to ensure compliance and accuracy. Identify and document operational risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities observed in the field to support strategic decision-making.
