Substitute - Bus Aide

Hourly Rate: $17.00/hr. TITLE: Substitute Bus Aide QUALIFICATIONS: -Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment physical, fingerprint-based background check, and Employment History Review. -Ability to work well with students, including those with disabilities. REPORTS TO: Director of Transportation JOB GOAL: To assist in providing safe transportation so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the district's curriculum and extracurricular program.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists the bus driver in maintaining good student conduct on the bus. Assists young or disabled students in getting on and off the bus. Assures that students get on and off the bus in an orderly manner. Provides written records of violations of the student code to the bus driver. Collects and turns over to the bus driver those personal items left on the bus by students.
