External Sales Representative

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking an experienced External Sales Representative to join a growing sales team based in Johannesburg. Our client is looking for a sales-focused professional with foundry industry experience who is confident dealing with new and existing clients and can act as the technical link between the foundry and its customers.

Conduct extensive travelling to new and existing clients. Identify and develop new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Act as the technical liaison between the foundry and clients. Understand client requirements and communicate these effectively to the foundry.

Assist with quoting on new jobs for potential clients. Develop and maintain a strong client base through regular engagement and follow-up. Identify opportunities to grow sales and secure new business. Provide clients with professional and technically informed service. Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to encourage repeat and long-term business.

Requirements

Matric certificate, with Engineering Drawing as one of the subjects. Proven sales experience. Previous foundry industry experience is essential. Foundry-related trade qualification would be advantageous. Strong client-facing and relationship-building abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good attendance record and punctuality.

Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively to clients.
