Recreation Coordinator

City: Winnipeg Site: 320 Sherbrook Street FTE: 1.0 Salary: As per Collective Agreement Anticipated Start Date: As Mutually Agreed Upon Hours of Work : 8:00 AM - 4:15 pm 3 Week Rotation Includes day, evening, and weekend Lions Housing Centres Inc. owns and operates housing and care facilities to provide accommodations for adult citizens.

J ob Profile: LHC Personal Care Home Inc. is recruiting for a Recreation Coordinator. This position reports directly to the Manager of Recreation. Key Requirements: Completion of the Recreation Facilitator for older adults’ certificate or equivalent.

• Related experience in the provision of therapeutic recreation.
• Related experience working with the senior population.
• Good interpersonal, conflict resolution and leadership skills
• Demonstrate group facilitation skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to work as part of a team
• Good organizational abilities with particular emphasis on time management,
