Gallatin River Child Care is currently seeking candidates for a Onsite Childcare Manager.

Position Overview

The Onsite Childcare Manager oversees the daily operations of an organization’s childcare facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. This role combines leadership, compliance, staff supervision, and family engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure a structured daily schedule that supports children’s development Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment Supervise and support childcare staff and professional development Staff Oversite (coordinate staff meetings, on-going training, PR, support staff scheduling) Report to Directors Manage coverage of staffing ratios Ensure compliance with all state and local childcare licensing regulations (annual renewal & upkeep of student documents) Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards Oversee emergency preparedness plans and drills Build strong relationships with families Coordinate maintenance repairs Conduct tours for prospective parents and families Skills and Competencies Continued education towards a CDA 5+ years of childcare experience, including lead roles Knowledge of childcare licensing regulations CPR/First Aid certification Level 3 on the MTECP registry Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
