Parts Counter Advisor

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Performs research on customer requests for parts; provides quotation and pricing information to customers; processes customer orders; gathers and distributes customer information; provides follow-up assistance on customer orders; coordinates and communicates with service personnel and PSSR’s in order to ensure timely delivery of parts.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS Directs incoming calls before and after regular business hours Handles cash and other transactions Maintains confidentiality for proprietary information Performs other duties, including, but not limited to: filing, telemarketing, parts expediting, report review, assisting inventory control and the warehouse to coordinate and manage reports Files and completes paperwork Occasional warehouse duties such as order filling, hose building, shipping and receiving QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY High school diploma or equivalent required.

Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English Proficient in use of a desktop computer, including Microsoft Office products Some knowledge of database applications Ability to work with co-workers and customers in a professional manner and develop/maintain business relationships Must be able to use general office equipment including a calculator, multi-line phone system, and mute –function fax/copy/scanner/printer PREFERRED Prior experience with inventory management, warehousing, and/or parts sales in a similar field desired: prior experience performing administrative functions desired Knowledge of AS400 programing and related software PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Office environment, low to moderate noise level
• Sitting at a desk for long periods, using a computer
• Occasional bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing stairs/ladders
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
• Frequent use of hands for simple grasping, pushing, pulling, and writing and typing
• Occasional exposure to all outdoor weather conditions
• Occasional exposure to substances, including grease, oil and dirt
• Overtime and varying schedules may be required, including on-call assignment
