Manager - Financial Advisory

Our client, a well-established professional services firm based in Malta, is currently looking for an experienced Manager to lead their Financial Advisory team . The role reports to the Senior Manager Financial Advisory and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record at a Big Four or mid-tier firm. This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to €50K.

Please note that only candidates already based in Malta will be considered. Role & Responsibilities Act as the primary financial and business advisor for clients, providing strategic guidance on business and financial issues Act as lead manager in financial due diligence exercises and coordinate with the Listing Authority, stockbrokers, and legal counsel when preparing for a bond issue or IPO Support mergers and acquisitions from a buy-side or sell-side perspective, including company and intellectual property valuations Develop, implement, and manage the processes involved in building business plans Carry out strategic business reviews, corporate valuations, financial due diligence, and corporate restructuring Assist clients in securing funding for new projects Track trends across the financial and non-financial sectors to deliver added value to clients Manage, mentor, and develop team members Education, Skills & Experience Qualified accountant or economist 5+ years of experience in advisory with a mid-tier or large firm In-depth knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS and GAPSME) and advisory best practices Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and related documentation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with regulators, clients, and team members Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Maltese or other languages is a plus About the Role Salary of up to €50K Hybrid with flexible hours Opportunity to lead and develop a Financial Advisory team Direct engagement with regulatory bodies, including the Listing Authority within the MFSA, as well as government entities such as Malta Enterprise and INDIS Professional growth and development opportunities Kindly apply with your detailed CV in English.
