As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our team and hiring a new Drafter. The Role We seek an experienced Drafter with strong CAD skills and a background in architectural drawings and construction.

This full-time, on site position works within our drafting and project management team to develop project specific SIP shop drawing and create sophisticated panel plans for a variety of building types. Key Responsibilities

Create detailed construction documents and SIP plans Verify that client designs meet performance and structural requirements Review CAD models and drawings for completeness and accuracy Analyze project information to determine the most effective panel layout Communicate technical building and panel information clearly (verbally and in writing) with clients, project managers, engineers and team members Maintain organized project files and documentation Manage multiple projects independently in a time-sensitive environment Exhibit strong attention to detail and conscientiousness with drawings and paperwork Recommended Skills & Qualifications Education & Experience Degree and/or experience in construction/building science, engineering, architecture, or related field preferred 1 + year of drafting and/or AutoCAD experience preferred Strong math aptitude and understanding of structural/architectural concepts Technical Skills AutoCAD (required) Revit or similar construction/drafting software HSB software experience is a strong plus Required Skills
