Special Education Paraeducators K-12 (Part-Time)

Special Education Paraeducators K-12 $18.29 hour, 5.5-5.75 hours per day, 184 days Multiple K-12 part-time positions available *Please indicate which school(s) you are interested in working at. The WASD is seeking paraeducators and caregivers who have experience working with special needs individuals in a school setting or care facility.

There are multiple K-12 learning support, life skills, autistic and emotional support vacancies available. Special education paraeducators provide academic support and guidance, emotional support, behavior monitoring and may assist students with their personal care needs. All special education paraeducators work closely with teachers and other professional staff to support students' needs and goals to be successful in school.

Transportation duties may be required. We are looking for reliable and devoted applicants. Only apply if you are a serious applicant who has a strong desire to work with special needs students. AED training, CPR, and First Aid preferred. Background clearances are required for all positions. After 60 days of satisfactory performance, newly hired support staff will be reimbursed $200.
