About the Role
Chattanooga, TN (Baylor School Road) Pay Rate: $25-28/hour Job Type: Full-time Shift & Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. ( Note: Position requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency facility needs) Why Join The Budd Group? Key Responsibilities
Inspect surfaces, read site instructions, and thoroughly prep areas by scraping, sanding, patching, and filling cracks. Site Setup & Safety: Protect nearby furniture, floors, carpets, and landscaping. Safely erect and set up ladders and scaffolding. Painting & Finishing: Mix, match, and expertly apply paint, stains, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
Inventory & Care: Maintain an accurate inventory of tools and supplies, properly clean equipment, and adhere to chemical disposal and safety guidelines. Team Support: Safely operate a company vehicle and assist the facility maintenance team with emergency service needs during your on-call rotation. What We’re Looking For Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven residential or commercial painting experience (completion of a trade apprenticeship is a plus!)
Trade Skills: High attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and confidence/balance when working on ladders or scaffolding. Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to operate company vehicles. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, kneel, crawl, bend, and safely lift up to 50 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift Ready to Apply?
