Our Mission: Care. Comfort. Plan. Valley of the Temples is looking for a Gift Shop Associate to join our team in Kaneohe, HI where we offer a passionate and purpose-filled work environment. The Gift Shop Associate is responsible for customer service, cashiering/credit card processing, cutting flowers, opening and/or closing the front booth, receiving deliveries, merchandising, inventory, as well as maintaining organization & cleanliness of the front flower booth, directing funeral and temple visitors, turning cars around after closing, and periodically helping with parking at the temple.

Responsibilities

Greet & assist customers and temple/grave visitors ensuring they have a positive experience and heading to the correct place. Maintain the flow of customers waiting in line to check out. Maintain booth cleanliness & organization, restock shelves & merchandising to ensure proper product display. Merchandising & inventory, conduct stock checks, receive & process deliveries.

Accurately & efficiently operate Point of Sales system to handle sales transactions & returns Support & collaborate as a team member Qualifications Ability to work within a team Reliable & punctual with a strong work ethic Highly self-motivated Positive, friendly and respectful attitude Willingness to learn, able to take direction Basic math skills Retail & customer service experience preferred (not required) Excellent communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods & lift up to 40lbs Weekend availability and flexible scheduling Compensation $17.

50 /hr.
