What You'll Do

As a CT Technologist, you'll play a vital role in providing accurate diagnostic imaging while ensuring every patient feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic CT imaging procedures following established protocols. Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure a safe and comfortable imaging experience. Operate imaging equipment while following radiation safety standards and best practices. Administer IV and/or oral contrast media as authorized and in accordance with established protocols.

Monitor patients throughout procedures, recognizing and responding appropriately to discomfort or medical concerns. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and other healthcare software. Manage image transfers, archiving, retrieval, and documentation to support timely patient care.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflows and exceptional patient outcomes.

Knowledge of CT imaging procedures, equipment, and radiation safety practices. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality diagnostic images. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.

Requirements

Aligns with American College of Radiology Accreditation Standards and recommendations Completed accredited radiology education program and /or State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist is preferred. ARRT Certification (Required) BLS Certification (Preferred)
