Project Manager
Job description
The Project Manager supports the Team Lead, Project Engineers, Superintendents and field crews to complete civil/site and environmental restoration projects safely and efficiently. You're responsible for overall project performance and are the primary face of the company to clients at the project level. You'll work with your team to manage budget, schedule and resources, and you'll support the Team Lead with estimating and procurement.
You'll split your time between the office and the field.
Essential Duties
Own overall project performance, including safety, quality, budget and schedule Support Project Engineers, Superintendents and field crews so projects are completed safely and efficiently Work with the team to monitor budget, schedule and resources, and address issues as they come up Review plans, specifications and permit requirements, and make sure the work complies with them Oversee job cost tracking, invoicing and change orders Travel to job sites throughout New England Serve as the primary point of contact for clients at the project level Update clients, stakeholders and the project team on progress, issues and risks Support the Team Lead in estimating and bidding, including scope, schedule and risk reviews Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks Support procurement of materials, equipment and subcontractors Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Environmental or Civil Engineering preferred [5+] years of experience in construction and/or environmental restoration, including project management Civil/site construction experience preferred Strong business acumen in project planning, budgeting and management Strong verbal, written and organizational skills Willingness to travel regularly to job sites throughout New England Benefits: Immediate eligibility for all benefits upon hire Health insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield), 50% employer-paid Dental insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield), 100% employer-paid Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 401(k) with employer match up to 4% of wages 10 days of paid time off, plus 10 paid holidays Short- and long-term disability insurance Group life insurance Profit sharing: Share in the success of your projects through a generous profit-sharing program tied to Project Team results.
