SHIFT SUPERVISOR – JOB DESCRIPTION Shift Supervisor Responsibilities: The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily restaurant operations by leading Restaurant Associates during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent guest service, food quality and a clean welcoming environment. The Shift Supervisor maintains a clean and efficient work environment and ensures that all menu items are prepared to standards.

The Shift Supervisor serves as the manager on duty when General Manager is not present. The Shift Supervisor reports directly to the General Manager. Shift Supervisor duties will include, but are not limited to: Supervise all staff on duty during shifts to ensure smooth operations Delegate tasks effectively and ensure Restaurant Associates are cross trained Provide coaching, feedback and support to staff throughout the shift Maintain a positive and professional work environment Assist with opening and closing duties including setup, cleanup and cash handling Verify that equipment and supplies are in working order and report issues promptly Monitor food quality, presentation and accuracy of orders Ensure the dining area is clean, stocked and welcoming Support staff with order-taking, making sandwiches and serving orders Perform shift related paperwork, cash counts and deposits accurately Help train new employees and reinforce company policies and procedures Experience/Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Two (2) years of leadership experience in food service or retail Strong communication, problem solving and decision-making skills Ability to lead by example and motivate a team Organized, dependable and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment Flexible schedule availability Preferred Skills: Knowledgeable and skilled with most types of restaurant equipment and tools Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment Hours: The Shift Supervisor is a full time or part time position and hours may vary Salary/Income: The Shift Supervisor is a non-exempt, hourly position
