Job description

**Woodland Veterinary Hospital **is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.

In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Schedule and compensation:

  • Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour, for each hour worked
  • This position offers part-time or full-time scheduling options. We are open to a part-time team member with strong customer service experience and a willingness to learn, as well as an experienced veterinary professional seeking a full-time opportunity. Full-time candidates should have at least two years of veterinary experience. Flexibility throughout the week, including Saturday and Sunday is preferred.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role is required

  • We are open to candidates with strong customer service experience and an interest in veterinary medicine for part-time opportunities. Full-time candidates should have at least two years of veterinary experience.

  • Proficiency in the following skills:

  • Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred

  • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records

  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team

  • Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
