Line Cook / Prep Cook

Location: Fairhope, AL Industry: Restaurant & Catering High-Volume Kitchen | Fast-Paced Environment Job Overview We are seeking dependable and hardworking Line Cooks / Prep Cooks to join a busy, high-volume restaurant and catering company in Fairhope, Alabama. The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced kitchen, can prepare food quickly and accurately, and works well with a team.

Candidates must be organized, reliable, and able to handle large food orders while maintaining quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and plate food according to recipes and standards. Chop, portion, and prepare ingredients for daily kitchen operations. Assist with food preparation for catering events and large orders. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation. Follow proper food safety and handling procedures. Keep up with orders during busy service hours.

Assist with stocking, inventory, and kitchen cleanup. Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed on time.

Requirements

Previous line cook, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred. Experience in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety. Ability to stand for long periods and lift kitchen supplies. Strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills.

Dependable transportation and reliable attendance. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or catering events as needed.
