Know HVAC inside and out? Bring it to the counter. We're looking for a Counter Sales Associate for our Fishers, Indiana branch. If you can talk equipment with a working technician, think on your feet, and give contractors answers they can use, read on. About Plumbers Supply Co. What This Job Is Really About You'll be the first voice an HVAC contractor, technician, or facility manager hears when they walk in or call.

You need to know our equipment, parts, and supplies, stay calm when the counter fills up, and get the answer right the first time. This is a sales role, but the best counter people think like technicians and know how to close the sale.

What You'll Do

Each Day Greet walk-in and phone customers quickly and professionally Recommend HVAC products that fit the actual job Process orders, quotes, and returns accurately Track shipments and push on orders when a job is waiting on parts Serve as the go-to person for specs, cross-references, alternatives, and technical questions Set the standard at the counter, because every interaction reflects on the branch What You'll Bring High school diploma or GED 2+ years in HVAC sales, supply house counter work, or HVAC service or installation (preferred) Enough product knowledge to hold a real conversation with a working technician Initiative: you step in when a customer needs help without being told Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfort being on your feet for a full shift and routinely lifting 50 lbs What You Get Competitive pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance 10 paid holidays, plus vacation and sick time Life and disability insurance Wellness program with incentives 401(k) with company match Financial planning support through Cerity Partners Ready to Step Up to the Counter?
