Job Description: The Cloud CoE Sr Analyst's primary goal is to maximize the value delivered by the Technology to the customers and stakeholders. This involves modernizing in-place infrastructure, understanding the needs and desires of the Cloud CoE customers and stakeholders, defining the technology’s features and requirements, and prioritizing the work of the Enablement Team.
This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing the global Hybrid Computing infra services, including VMware and on-premises storage. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VMware, on-prem storage and other Virtualization Platforms and a passion for driving cloud and on-prem infrastructure excellence. What are we looking for?
- Bachelor of sciences degree or equivalent in engineering filed/IT/Computer Science/Management. - 3+ Years' experience within IT (Application or Technology).
- Proven experience managing physical and virtualized server environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware (servers, storage arrays, SAN/NAS devices).
- Familiarity with network infrastructure components relevant to on-prem data centers, such as switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, and scripting languages (PowerShell/Python).
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex Cloud and On-prem Infrastructure issues.
- Proven leadership and influencing experience through interaction with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) in Data Center Virtualization or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integration between cloud and on-premises systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning in Azure technologies. What will be your key responsibilities?
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.
- Manage high-availability VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, etc).
- Manage physical and virtual servers, storage systems in on-premises data centers.
- Collaborate with Cloud and Infrastructure Project managers to plan, stage, and execute the migration of workloads out of legacy environments.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies for critical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with hardware vendors and internal teams for maintenance and upgrades.
- Implement and enforce security best practices across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
- Define standards and maintain VMware clusters and storage servers.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Participate in Cloud Architecture Review Boards (ARB) for KPI, SLA/O definition.
