• Stuart, FL, Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.00Hourly, Job Shift: Evening, Custodian (Part-Time) – Martin County Pay Rate: $15 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday evening shifts; some weekends required Areas Serviced: General offices, private offices, lobbies, lounges, kitchen / break rooms, coffee areas, washrooms, restrooms, stairways, corridors, computer rooms, conference rooms and mailrooms (all common areas). No security access areas unless pre-approved. Schools include hallways and classrooms. Frequencies:

1. Nightly A. Floors
2. Hard Surface floors swept and/or damp mopped
3. Carpeted floors vacuumed and spot cleaned
4. Entrance lobby floors cleaned
5. Stairs vacuumed and/or swept
6. Kitchen / Break rooms swept and/or damp mopped B. Restrooms
7. Floors swept, mopped, and rinsed with a disinfectant detergent
8. Fixtures cleaned and sanitized including toilet bowls, urinals, and hand basins
9. Mirrors cleaned
10. Small partitions and tile walls wiped down
11. Sanitary napkin receptacles cleaned
12. Waste receptacles emptied and resulting debris placed in designated areas. Liners replaced from stock
13. Towels, tissue, hand soap and feminine product dispensers refilled from stock C. Receptacles
14. Waste receptacles emptied and resulting debris placed in designated areas or removed from building; liners replaced as needed from stock
15. Smoking areas (if requested). Sand urns sifted, soiled sand emptied and refilled as needed from stock. D. Dusting
16. Desks, filing cabinets, bookcases, chairs, tables and other office furniture to be dusted. NOTE: Letter files, telephones, personal items, etc will NOT BE MOVED. Cleaners will dust around items ONLY.
17. Windowsills, low ledges, moldings, picture frames, etc, dusted.
18. Office machines will be feather dusted where desired.
19. Personal items on desks/walls will NOT be dusted. E. Glass
20. Glass desk tops cleaned and dry polished
21. Entrance doors cleaned
22. Smudges to be removed from partition glass
23. Directory signs cleaned F. Miscellaneous
24. Decorative private offices and reception areas – special attention to be paid in keeping with the various special furnishings
25. Drinking fountains to be cleaned and sanitized
26. Kitchen / Break room tables, chairs and appliances damp wiped and skinks cleaned
27. Coffee service area – counters damp wiped and sinks cleaned (Note – washing and drying of dishes available at extra charge; however; only dishes returned to break area by employees will be cleaned)
28. Use of minimal lighting when working
29. Lights to be turned off when nightly service is completed.
30. Janitorial closets to be kept neat and orderly
31. All locks to be checked (and alarm set where necessary) before custodian leaves to insure that building is secure.
