Current Department Employees: Lead Staff Nurse - Women & Family

Under the general direction of the Women and Family Nurse Manager, coordinates and delivers comprehensive care to obstetric patients and newborns throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods. Assists patients with admission, labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, and discharge processes. Utilizes the nursing process to develop and implement individualized plans of care for mothers and newborns.

The RN assumes responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating both direct and indirect nursing care, and for identifying outcomes that promote safe, evidence-based maternal and neonatal care within the obstetric setting.
