Cook up a friendship and share a story or two! If you enjoy meaningful conversations and building genuine connections, this could be the perfect opportunity. Spend one hour each week visiting a lovely lady who would appreciate regular companionship. She enjoys watching Arabic movies, reading, and sharing conversations about food, family, and life.

She especially enjoys cooking with her family and would love the opportunity to chat with someone who appreciates good stories, culture, and connection. Your visits could include discussing favourite books and films, sharing recipes and memories, or simply enjoying a warm and friendly conversation together. If you enjoy meaningful chats, learning about different cultures, and making a genuine difference in someone’s week, we’d love to hear from you—this could be the recipe for a truly rewarding volunteering experience.

Requirements

18 years or older

• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by Hammond. Care
• We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week- Monday to Sunday Flexible times between: 9am–4pm 30 minutes to 1 hour per visit
