Lewisburg, TN 37091 Shift Full Time Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm Job Summary Make a direct impact on heart health by delivering advanced cardiovascular diagnostic services that support life-saving patient care. The Cardiovascular Technologist performs a variety of invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac imaging, diagnostic testing, and cardiac monitoring activities.

Working closely with cardiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams, this role combines technical expertise, critical thinking, and compassionate patient care to ensure accurate diagnoses, exceptional patient experiences, and outstanding clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of cardiovascular diagnostic procedures, including echocardiograms, stress testing, Holter monitoring, vascular studies, and invasive cardiovascular procedures as assigned. Prepare, monitor, and support patients throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures while ensuring safety, comfort, and quality outcomes.

Operate and maintain cardiovascular imaging, monitoring, and diagnostic equipment to obtain accurate, high-quality clinical data. Recognize, document, and promptly communicate abnormal findings or significant changes in patient condition to physicians and care teams. Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, prioritize patient needs, and support efficient workflow.

Maintain accurate documentation and manage cardiovascular records through PACS, CPACS, and electronic health record systems while participating in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (Required) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or registry eligible (Required) One year of cardiovascular diagnostic, imaging, or cath lab experience (Preferred) Additional cardiovascular certifications may be considered: Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Why Maury Regional Health Join an award-winning health system committed to serving the healthcare needs of southern Middle Tennessee!
