We are looking for a dependable and motivated Automotive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting department!

Key Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Match invoices to purchase orders, repair orders, and supporting documentation. Verify invoice coding, approvals, and appropriate general ledger accounts. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies. Prepare and process payments in accordance with company procedures.

Maintain accurate records and organized accounts payable files. Communicate with vendors and dealership departments to resolve questions and discrepancies. Assist with month-end closing and other accounting duties as needed.

Qualifications

Previous accounts payable or accounting experience preferred. Automotive dealership experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Basic understanding of accounting principles and general ledger coding. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as part of a team.

Professional communication and problem-solving skills. CDK DMS experience is a plus.
