Assoc Tech Field Eng - Canberra ACT

What success looks like in this role: Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, monitors, software and peripherals . Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair IT equipment and devices. Complete basic installs, moves, adds and changes (IMAC) across customer environments. Assist with network, server, device and application testing .

Manage incidents and service requests, ensuring SLA targets and ticket updates are met. Deliver a positive customer experience through timely and professional onsite support. Follow established Field Engineering procedures and support special technical projects as required. You will be successful in this role if you have: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent qualification.

Ideally up to 1 year of IT support, desktop support or field engineering experience . Basic knowledge of PC hardware, Windows, peripherals and troubleshooting . Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
