Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) now invites candidates for these positions that are expected to be filled in September 2026: Animation and Interactive Media Programme is seeking candidates with expertise in one or more areas of 2-D and 3-D animation and interactive media that may include 2D and 3D digital arts, 2D and 3D animation, narrative art, history and theory of animation and interactive media, motion graphics, VR and AR art.

Practice in the industry, sound design, and creative coding are considered as assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a creative practice or theoretical research while teaching, managing, supervising, facilitating field trips, tutoring and caring for students and academic promotion. In addition to theoretical research or creative practice, the candidate should be qualified to teach courses in one or more areas such as digital painting and drawing, character design and animation, virtual environment design, interactive media, 3D modelling and animation, digital assets construction, production pipeline, among other related subjects.

Candidates should have a PhD degree or at least a Master’s degree of Fine Arts (MFA) in Animation, Game Design or Digital Arts. Proficiency in English is required. English is the medium of instruction in the programme. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with the successful candidate’s experience and research accomplishments.
