CNC Machinist

Overview

We're hiring CNC Machinists for our aerospace and defense machine shop outside of Anaheim, CA We machine frames and structural components for defense platforms–true large-format work, on parts most machinists never get their hands on. If your fundamentals are strong, we'll train you on large-format gantry mills, 5-axis machining centers, and supporting CNC mills and lathes.

Compensation

$30–$46/hr 45-hour week + additional optional overtime Up to $100k/yr (including overtime) Hiring on 2nd Shift Monday

• Friday Requirements Responsibilities Setups: Load and verify programs, tools, offsets, and fixtures from setup sheets Machining: Set up and operate CNC milling and turning centers, including large-format work Dimensional Accuracy: Adjust machine parameters, offsets, and tooling to hold tight tolerances Blueprints & GD&T: Work from complex aerospace prints and customer specifications Inspection: Precise measurement with calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments What You'll Run Equipment: Large-format gantry mills, 5-axis machining centers, and supporting CNC mills and lathes Parts: Frames and structural components for defense platforms You don't need large-format or gantry experience. If you're a 3, 4, or 5-axis machinist with strong fundamentals and solid setup skills, we'll train you on the big machines.

Requirements

3+ years of CNC machining experience 5-axis machining experience Strong understanding of G-code and tool paths Reads blueprints and GD&T Runs own setups from setup sheets: programs, tools, offsets, and fixtures Inspects own work with calipers, micrometers, and precision instruments U.S. person (citizen or permanent resident) — ITAR-regulated facility Preferred: Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience Large-format or gantry mill experience Experience machining large structural parts
