One position available Sheriff Sergeant on Night Shift at the Jail. REPORTS TO: Lieutenant FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt CLASSIFICATION: Personnel System
- Requires successful completion of a 12 month probationary period. PAY GRADE: Public Safety Step Plan (SO3) SAFETY SENSITIVE: Yes; Subject to random drug testing per the Athens-Clarke County Drug and Alcohol Ordinance. Purpose of Job The purpose of this job is to provide exemplary leadership associated with and assisting in directing the overall operation of the Sheriff’s Department at the unit, field, or jail level.
